Scout is definitely the best, most fulfilling class to play no doubt about it, but best line goes to the Demoman I'm afraid.

You want the definitve proof that the Scout is the best? In the entire game there is no "That Scout is a Spy" line. Why is that so? Because all of his teammates are too damn afraid of him to even acknowledge the possiblity of him working for the enemy team. Everyone dumb enough to mention this would get his head batted in. BONK!

You see now the Scout is scoutic. And yes, I said "scoutic" because "epic" just wouldn't be enough scoutic to describe how awesome our Brooklyn Batter is. He is the very definition of godly and if some people find that blasphemic he'd smash 'em all, including God himself and all of the archangels. That's how scoutic he is!
