Not sure about Gimpy but i know i cant afford it. I still pay for things each month to keep the servers running.

Your talking about beta 2.3

But they are releasing beta 3.0 to clients on friday.

The server files are all ready out on the official website.

Beta 3.0 is an entirely new build and will be alot better :P

I have been playing a lot of DOD: S beta today. Very fun game, wish I had played it before today. You know what we should do? Arrange a DOD: S game for regs and clan members this weekend. Try and encourage people to play.

Sadly, I reckon it's not worth it really. I have been on a few times (or looked @ server info) and it's always empty. Save the money m8 imo.

As someone whose put in over 20 hours on DODS beta since its release, it will be sad to lose a good server.

But there has been a drop in players this past week (probably gone back to non beta DODS)

There are a number of other UK based beta servers already.
Multiplay, DA, UKCS and Leftovers which seem to fill up instead of HH.

So dont waste money on it mate.
