The BB crits from the front and the side too you know...

Its exactly comparable: AB vs. 100% crits from behind.

Looks like a fair alternative to me.

Yeah lol, the pyro never was the gimp everyone tried to make him if used right.

I only ever used the backburner because I felt forced into it just to be able to compete.
Now the playing fields level again, I can go back the normal one.

If you ask me, despite what Valve says, there wasnt much wrong with the pyro to begin with. He could cause absolute mayhem if used right. And you didnt have to be all that good with him to do it either.

i agree, pyro has always been my best class, even before the updates.

Mine as well. Moreso pre-update. Especially because if you timed things right people almost ignored you. Well, until a crit-burst happened anyway...

I just hate pyros, they are just irritating, pre-patch it was managable since there was only 1 or 2, but now with 2 as the norm im either being buffeted about from all sides (Especially while ubered), or they always take the spy route and try playing a 175 hp spy and rape my whole group.

Ah well, at least some of them still think they can run straight up to me as a heavy and survive, makes for a lot of kills

Even though they took off the hp, most of the pyros I see still use the BB. I don't get it, the AB is way more fun!

I used the BB cause i felt that i needed to.

I used the CB cause i wanted to.

It's always been like that for me.

If the team i was on was absolutely useless as a whole then i'd go BB and try and chalk of the big hitters as a sort of rally call to the team .

But i love the CB, it always was the true pyro weapon and still is. You know you're good when you can take on and win against 2 trigger happy BB pyros will full health

never noticed the lack of health on the pyro, haha.

im still deciding if to use the normal one tho.
the CB is realy nice, but the 1 second delay that it gives after the CB to flame can get annoying.

but then again, the CB is dam nice when against soldiers at some range.


it is just me, or does the backburner never seem to crit from the front?
or is that the idea or it?..... haha.
