Weighted Companion Cube Soccer is a SourceMod based soccer plugin for Team Fortress 2. Instead of a ball, players use a Weighted Companion Cube.
The objective is to put the Cube in the team's net.
Currently there is one map on HH3 with cube soccer enabled on it. The map is called cube_valley2_b1.
Here is some more info about the game format.
The game is versatile in that it is not like a standard soccer map:
1. The goals can be placed anywhere at the admin's discretion. The goals can be moved closer together, or they can be placed near a team's spawn so that the Cube has to be brought back to the net, changing the gameplay.
2. The Cube can be placed anywhere as a start point - for example, being moved closer to one team to give them an advantage.
3. Because map resources are low (no logic, no game rules etc), maps tend to be small and quick to load.
4. The plugin returns stats for HLStatsX to pick up. Goals, own-goals, longest punts and the player who moved the Cube the most distance per round, are all recorded.
5. The Cube is essentially a spawn locker. Every 4 seconds (or whatever the admin configures the delay to be), the Cube fires a healing beam. If you are lucky to be nearby, you will get full health and all your ammo clips refilled.
6. Many settings can be changed via cvars. Most maps will not let you do this, but Cube Soccer maps allow you to tweak.
7. Besides the Cube maps, the plugin can also be used on most stock and custom maps such as toy_fort, badlands, fastlane or even ctf maps like 2fort. Multi stage maps such as cp_dustbowl or cp_gravelpit will not work because it is difficult to set them up so they are equal for both teams.
Not just DeathMatch Although the game often feels like DeathMatch style play, teamwork is an important part of the game.
Players need to coordinate in many different ways.
Obviously, there is the usual medic/heavy team, but scouts learn to work with each other, demos learn how to move the Cube from one end of the map to the other and every player has a role to play, be it in goals, defending or weaving through the other team trying to score.
Snipers tend to decimate a map, so are often disabled, although on a full server, one sniper per team is often acceptable.
Yeah this looks like great fun, just hope the AB isnt as OP on the companion cube as it is on heavies, otherwise its gonna be pyro soccer and I wanna play too.

Re: New on HH3 - Companion Cube Soccer
I don't think pyros can airblast physics objects.
