Hello

Now as you can see from the front Page I'm no Web designer :cry: :cry: .

Do we have anybody who is good at web design flash etc..........

Spider is great with graphics and I can do all the text shuff.
But we do need someone to make a Template for as.

I would like things like the Hlstats and TS frames on the front page.

Can anybody Help.................

I might be able to help, used to help run a website where I used to work, can't do flash, but I can do some html and some css, there's probably someone on here who can do it better than me but if nobody else steps up then i'll give it a try :)

I can do raw html, or dreamweaver

I used to make some layouts for websites before on Photoshop, but that's just about all I can do.

if you need any files hosting, like pics or anything like that (to save bandwidth), i can stick them on my website

i got 1.5gb of storage available, and 20gb of transfers a month.

only thing i cant do is host databases, as i'm a tight git and didnt buy that option.

Just tell me if you need anything done, I've worked with Photoshop on and off for about 4 years. I can only do basic HTML so far, nothing fancy. I can do little bit of Flash aswell.

Hi,
what do you think about having a "hampshire heavies portal"?

There are many Content Management Systems (CMS), also one especially made for online gaming clans (http://webspell.org/).

Having such a portal means, that you need to do the design (HTML, CSS) once, and then just add your content (news, clan member pages, whatever). Without the need to know anything about HTML.

PS: it can be installed like any other similar webapplication (e.g. phpBB3). You just need a database (mysql) and webspace with php support.

I would like someone to help put together a short gameplay video for use on the website.

I could use the trailers Valve put out, but I'd prefer, and I'm sure everyone else would too, something unique. Which is why I am asking you, our humble community, for assistance. Doesnt have to be a flashy, 1080dpi blockbuster, but a simple short gameplay video that can be easily recognised as TF2. It's not going to be that big eventually so I dont want anyone going nuts and wasting their efforts. ;)
It needs to be about 30 - 45 seconds long.

What I DONT want on it atm is any filter or overlay effects, unless its just to improve quality. These will be applied later when necessary.

I'm a webdesigner. Flash, XHTML, CSS, but also Java, PHP, FLex, Ajax... what do you need? I can throw up a quick frontpage, if that's all you need. I owe you people that much for playing on your server as often as I do. ^^

I suggest you don't bother too much about throwing up a portal. It is a LOT of work to do it well. Ideas are fun... but if you really want to throw up a portal, you'll need to use some sort of framework. I sometimes make custom portals using BEA WebSphere, IBM WebLogic... It'll set you back a few hundredthousand pounds if you want it done well...

Joomla! often does the trick, though. It has a CMS, forums (Small Machines), chat apps... Whatever you need, rest assured, it's already there. All open source. :)

Want a sleek design for your frontpage? A link to your forum? A link to your HLStatsX page? Simple stuff, and more than sufficient, if you ask me. I can spend a few hours on ya. Free of charge! :)
