Post Re: HH2 community outreach programme
Ego is never lost J-man, merely transferred.

Watched it all on STV, was a good game. The game was really won and lost in the time between the scouts arriving on the middle CP and the bulk of the Pub team arriving, and it was really a very small window of opportunity, and the HH2 guys only managed it once. I thought the HH2 guys defended GravelPit well, but 9 players is a lot to overcome on offence so It wasn't really a surprise they ended up losing there.

Gratz to the Pubbers, I must say the skill level of you guys was much higher than in the event that inspired this and thanks to the HH2 guys for dragging themselves away from HoN long enough to provide some entertainment.

Ares, you only criticise because you CARE SO DAMNED MUCH AND YOU HATE SEEING THEM LOSE. Right?

Oh no, right, Massive Ego :P:P:P

ps: KB: The SteamForums one happened yesterday, and the comp guys won all three maps. But....those were div1 players and more importantly the pub teams skill level simply wasn't as good as you guys soooo.

Thanks guys, it was great fun to play in an organised game again, especially with such great teammates and against top opponents (and have I kissed enough arse to play in another one sometime?). :D

I'm so sorry I missed this, I've been working as some of you know recently and it's taken up a lot of my time and energy.

I hope I can play in the next one!

KissKiss has it methinks. But yeah it was an experiment , and as long as people enjoyed it then I'll try and get another going. Maybe the rape is too boring :P :? . Nice to see we have such a skilled community though.

Also no problem Bedizen real life over TF2 anyday. [beer]

start with 7, 2 medics + 5 other players vs 9 people with 1 medic should be fun

7 would be fine, but maybe not as another medic, as that would be a major advantage...

Unless the pub's could be given the same, any one class for a medic...

Im not sure, currently the problem is that a 9 player team simply deals too much damage and a single medic cant keep them alive, i believe having more healthy, more skilled players vs an angry mob of less skilled players would be an interesting thing to see, and might just make it less of a steam roll than this match was.

Also, did we get a demo of this match? i got one from my perspective but did the server make one?

If we had gash as my scout buddy and ares as demo it would not have been so one sided. (That and a load of people that are spending far too much time playing HoN)
