For christ's sake, do you really need an announcement every 10 minutes? Get some friends or some pubs.

yes i too am finding this rather tedious, especially after seeing 2 pairs of the same announcement within 4 mins

Chill out man, it's not like it's like this every day or that this is as bad as the Lethal Zone announcements.
It's just some guys that want to play the new L4D with a couple of HH people, not random fags.

then stop being lazy and use your goddamn friends list! the steam group is not there to get 1 fecking person to play a game with! filling servers and sceduling events in the future or bday party's im sure its all good but seriously spaming hundreds of people to find 1 to play l4d2 is a bit silly, and downrite annoying when there spammed so often.

not that i have the power to spam it nor l4d2
but a new topic isn't really needed for this since you could have just messaged the "Spammer" on steam right away.

This is mostly my fault and i apologise, from now on only the regs group and l4d groups will be used...

keep l4d announcements to the l4d group, it has 500 members that like l4d. the regs group has almost 2000 members that dont all play l4d. also keep it to events, not filling 1 spot on a server

Yep, we all commented on the pointlessness of the announcements whilst playing left 4 dead 2.

This will only serve as a reason for people to quit the HH Regs steam group.

Yep i said about this, l4d group for l4d/2 related announcments, noy necceserily "i wanna play" ones either, and not so often its fairly easy to find 3 other people by spamming your friends

Doubly annoying as all steam announcements alt-tab me out of whatever i doing.
