TF2 breakdance movie concept finished - GMOD knowledge requ.
Hi HH Community
I nearly finished my 2nd movie, which i will be released soon, but i don't say what it's all about, that's a surprise I must say Sony Vegas is an awesome tool. My future movieprojects will be to film big fights from above, because i really like the filming in freefly mode. Also we can try a film with scripts, to maximise the entertainment. There you come into the scene, if we could make some organized fights someday with password protected server for filmmaking, that would be very interesting It just came to my mind. Tell me what you think about it, i'm open for all ideas!

Yes you can call it machinima, but real machinimas are forged with sharpened Sony Vegas skills, and i'm right at the start of this knowledge and i need to test out many things, if they look good or not, it's not easy But if that will work, it would be a nice experiment and after Ignus Solus the 2nd real machinima. I'm also at the start of gathering ideas for such a film, i write it all down so i don't forget it. If you have any ideas of awesome scenes, just post in here! But i plan to make a shortfilm first to see how it works, just a compilation of 6-7 cool scenes to fit the 11 mins limit on youtube. If that work well and you are still motivated, we can go to bigger projects, it's all about the energy you put into such things.
Some ideas from my side: 15vs15 pyros that charge each other in an arrow formation, filmed from above. Gravelpit organized fight at A or B with ALL men! Fighting Ring Heavy vs Heavy (map: meleebarn for instance..)
Also we can introduce every class with a kickass scene that fits perfectly to the class, and between we put in some random eye candy, because i found out that many cool details makes a good movie, so you have many things that makes you watching it again! For instance the spy, stabs 6 people in a row in a breathtaking fight, after wards we show him caught by 4 pyros and got burned to the soul, the all pyros do the flamethrowertaunt with a zooming to the dead spy.

Yeh i have always thought it would be cool to make a little series like Red Vs Blue with TF2.

In this case source tv is your friend. Get a demo on that and you can playback to your hearts content from any angle you choose. It's not like a demo you take of yourself, which is restricted to what you saw.*

NEW IDEA!!
I must say working with Sony Vegas is very interesting, because the only limit for creating movies, are the ideas you have The possibilities and the potential of Garry's Mod always amazed me. I like TF2, it's an awesome 'n innovative shooter! My idea was to create a TF2-breakdance movie, with MANY MANY frames that it looks smooth. Plan is to take a good breakdance movie, like flying steps and copy it and show exactly the same moves, by using the TF2-classes.
Problem is i've never worked with gmod, but for this project i would definitly learn all of it. My question is to the gmod-veterans, how difficult is this? Is it even difficult if you know 100% about gmod, and workin with this program is just easy routine for you?
I'm really curious what you think about this idea. Also do someone of you work with Garry's mod?
