I highly recommend that peopel sign up for the beta. The game can be great fun and you can boost the reputation of the HH while you're having fun.

Hello lovely Regs, A handful of you may have heard about / seen some of us playing a new game called Dogfighter recently. As you might infer from the name, it's a game about shooting each other down in various planes using various weapons, from the bogstandard machine gun to the Vulcan Cannon or the Viper Rail Gun, or homing missiles. Right now the game is in a closed beta stage and the developers (http://www.dark-water-studios.com) have asked for our help in making it the best that they can before it gets released to the public. We've been extremely lucky to be given this opportunity, and it's a fantastic boost to the reputation of the Hampshire Heavies to have been asked to help with the development of Dogfighter. As a thank you to us for our help, the developers of Dogfighter have designed one of the planes to carry the HH logo, and I'll add a picture of that as soon as I've got one. In the meantime, here's a vid of the game from early in the dev cycle: As of tomorrow (Sunday 2nd May) I will have 150 Beta Keys to give away to any one in the HH Community who wants to try this game out. Be aware it's a proper beta, so there will be bugs, crashes and other problems that will need to be reported back to the developers. When I give you your Beta Key I will send you instructions on downloading the game and where to report issues. What do you have to do? Easy - send me a PM and I'll send you what you need when I get the keys. Tomorrow, when i get the keys, I will also post announcements to some of the Steam Groups which may mean a lot of people sign up to the forums to get a key. Before I do that however, I want to give everyone who is a reg *now* an early opportunity. See you in the skies! |

I did wonder, how did they come to ask you ? Do they know the HH from TF2 or L4D ? It certainly is an amazing boost to have something HH related in the final version of a game, that isn't some kind of mod or similar. Looking forward to play this game. |

Reminds me of that Airfix dogfighter game in which i had a lot of fun playing, been a long time since i looked at a aircraft game. |

Reminds me of that and flying heroes (ace old school dogfighting game if you can find it). If i were off this netbook i'd be all over this sarge, as it is I probably wouldnt be much help. |

This looks great, I'm just waiting on those specs. There's no point being a tester if I can't run the game. |
