Disappointed to see this thread starting to get spammed with crap. It's a big thing for the community, it is what everything hangs off of, It's going to be a mission to do, and Minty is spending £200+ quid towards getting it in the rack.

Can't wait for this, the extra capacity to expand to other games as and when will be welcome as well.
Downtime is annoying, but too bad tbh - one of those things that you have to live with

I wouldn't call that the start of spam, but that's not here nor there. I'm genuinely happy for the new servers and look forward to the added stability all round. Might even play some Killing Floor again - bought it for some reason I reckon.

The thing I'm most impressed about is that you got improved servers for the same monthly fee that deserves (cake) and [beer].

I'm a HP man myself, so the joke is just as much on me as it was on Gimp - irrelevant.

So I'm wondering if this will have any impact on TF2 as it currenntly stands - I have a very smnooth gaming experience on your servers already.

is this more a of an investment in the future?

Well, we host more than just TF2. We have Minecraft, Killing Floor and L4D/2 players too, but we can't run everything at once perfectly. This server will allow us to keep the non-TF2 servers up 24/7 as well. Any other games in the future will be able to be hosted as well!
