My opinion on k3d's is: it is very decent, but too dark.

You should try a new background. Its proven that dark colors might scare people off a bit. Like they might think we are all very serious and not having fun.

I like both of the submissions so far, couldn't we have one fixed banner for the news-index that's really descriptive (like K3Ds, with text listing all the games "we" play), and keep the rest for the forums and in rotation if we get more good submissions? It's kind of nifty and refreshing.
