Having never played a battlefield game before I'm kinda interested in giving it a shot. The game itself is only 13 euro here but the complete collection is 35 euro which is a bit much. So i was wondering if the expansion packs and boosterpacks are necessary? How does that work? Are they used a lot on a lot of servers and do you get booted or are they different servers? Do many people play them or is it just vanilla bf2 that is played?

Hito, the boosters have 3 maps extra each and a few new vehicles but thats about it and they arent nessacey but if you dont have them and a booster map comes on the server you get disconnected, the expansion is like a different game and has its own servers adn also is not nessecary, all you need is Vanilla BF2.
