I have it and up to a point I really enjoyed it.
That is until I experienced nothing but vehicle whoring and base raping no matter where I went - even where the server rules expressly forbid it...

Never saw a useful admin, and if there was what I thought an admin on they were usually the ones being the biggest vehicle whores anyway and kicking anyone who dared hop into a vehicle they wanted.

I got my friend who works/ed for dice to give me free upgrades for weapons, but I think he broke something - even when I rank up and get to pick a new weapon, it won't let me... so I think i'm stuck with Lvl 2 weapons for ever. Oh well....

Was a fun game.. with the right set of people it would be AWESOME.

Never been a problem for me. If I don't like the way a server is run, I leave. Plenty more around. And you can't blame the game for the way people play it. BF2 is a superb game.

I seem to have fallen over in Game and when I got home I found a copy of BF2 in my bag and my wallet £10 lighter...

no idea how that happened..

6. Another good idea would be to have Xfire installed which basically works like your Steam friends list, allowing you to see what games your friends are playing and to be able to join them with a mouse click. Find it here: Clicky
7. And finally a good thing to do is add BF2 to your Non-Steam games list in order to let other people on Steam see that you playing it.

Still play it now and again. Infantry only for the win. No random deaths from above or constantly walking round a corner to be faced with a tank and a gunner. This was last night and now i have the perfect place to show it off. How i love my AK. You might recognise isaac cox he plays on the H|H server quite a bit.

Do Ods have a BF2 server

We did, but stopped it cos most people went to play the lifesucker WOW. We just play on the EDW (east dutch warriors) server mostly now. Ods is originally a dutch clan with a few english memebers, most of us are gettin on a bit now and kids and online games don't seem to mix well.
