According to the Latest Steam update news, the achievements will be out next week. So in Valve Time that either means midnight on Friday or in a fortnight. |

It looks like some of the achievements have been made a bit easier. http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=676607 Maybe part of the reason for the delay....? |

Those changes should make it considerably easier to get the achievements through legitimate means. Bravo! I see that the 10 million healing points has been reduced to 1 million. Phew. I wasn't even going to attempt that before. |

Good find... They look a bit easier to get, those new achievements, a bit less dependent on luck (like having a heavy who rather uses his fists to kill 4 people...) |

Personally I think thats a good thing. Whats the point in releasing new content if only the hardcore get it? It would put the casual gamer off for sure. |

A couple of gaming websites have reported that the update is due tomorrow, on Tuesday the 29th. My recommendation is to forget about it altogether, and maybe you'll be pleasantly surprised when it's released. Of course, my medical credentials are admittedly suspect. Use your discretion when it comes to this free advice. |
