If some people start up a session on HH2, I'll probably play, so I'll try and get the framerate then. As for the mouse, I suppose I can post some screenies of the mouse config program but I doubt that would help any. I've got the ingame sensitivity at 6 but then it ends up too slow if I reduce it. I've turned off mouse accel (Not sure why you'd need to do it in console since there's a toggle option next to the slider). Would the raw input option be any good? Edit: Wait....is framerate the fps? If so, then it's at 60. Seems to flicker between 59 and 60 rapidly. |

Enable Raw Input. Also check that in Windows Control Panel -> mouse settings -> pointer options.. that you have Enhanced pointer precision turned off. It really is shitty and I find it annoying on the desktop, never mind ingame. Disable vsync in your graphics card settings / ingame. Vsync adds a 3 frame prebuffer which gives input lag and can make the mouse feel sloppy. It also caps the game rendering and increases overall latency. Even though your monitor can only display 60hz (60 updates a second) it has a negative impact for mouse input. It is for this very reason that we ask about your setup. So what about the mouse pad and turning circle at ingame 6 sens. Is your windows mouse sensitivity also centred? |

I might be wrong here, but I have a feeling that your setup is not the issue here. Sure it helps to get more consistency. But even with something like mouse acceleration turned on, you should eventually get used to it to an extent and be able to play (maybe not very good but) OK. I suspect it has more to do with movement, misjudgement, lack of knowjedge. My aim sucks, and even I can play decent sometimes. And please use headphones! It will raise your awareness of everything, not just Spies. |

Yes fps is framerate. Fps also stands for - Frames Per Second. |

Thanks for interfering / undermining. Yes he is also clueless when playing. Changing to these settings will give a consistent and optimal playing experience. |

No, your input was fine. It also stands for First Person Shooter and Feet Per Second too. |

Ok I've given the info I can give. But I still don't think it's the equipment since the game feels just fine to me. No lag or delayed response or anything. It's probably just down to me needing twice as much practice as a normal person. |

So you have not even tried with vsync off. Fucking brilliant, thanks for wasting my time. |
