Post Map suggestion thread
There wasn't really a place for this, so here we go:

Not even a new map, but sunshine got a new (big and good) update which is probably worth putting on the server: http://sl8.eu/files/cp_sunshine_rc7.bsp.bz2

As for some new maps: people tend to like pl but a lot of maps for it aren't very good. Same for ctf and koth and a/d - not necessarily bad modes but the maps for it get horrible with 24 people. For the Fight Nights the pro versions of maps seemed to work really well, so maybe those would be cool to put on the server? All of these were played in a competitive (highlander or 6v6 setting) so should be a good fit, check em out :geek:

cp_edifice (by the creator of sunshine and harbour, a/d): http://forums.tf2maps.net/showthread.php?t=20586

Koth_sandstone: http://forums.tf2maps.net/showthread.ph ... =sandstone

pl_goldrock (was played on the New Map Night and was received pretty great): http://forums.tf2maps.net/showthread.php?t=13430

ctf_turbine_pro: http://comp.tf/wiki/Turbine

There is a pro version of Viaduct as well but the author only just posted that he'll release a final version within a few days, so might as well wait for that

We can't fall into the trap of blaming any emptying of the server on whichever map happens to be on. Many of the players had been on the server for an hour or more.

There's a significantly better version of Swiftwater made for leagues that exists: http://fakkelbrigade.eu/maps/pl_swiftwater_ugc.bsp (Tf2Center map)
