It's kind of a merge between Dustbowl and Lazytown...Oh and it needs a name
Ohh forgot about the name i'll let you decide once i've got some pics cus its taken a bizarre twist seems more of a well/2fort/gravelpit as it stands thoguh in fairness thats largely due to me not liking the direction the old 1 was taking and rather than remaking it i started a new one ^^
I felt that i needed to post screens partially for you to see what it looks like at the moment but mostly because once the screens are out i'll have more motivation to complete the map.
Please bare in mind the lighting is still being worked on and that problem is its major drawback at the moment also some images are edited in photoshop as they were a bit dark and you couldn't see the layout.
Looks nice, especially the outside... I think the ceiling inside is a bit too high, but maybe its got a purpose. Are you sure about all the water outside? Might cause severe performance problems on some computers... Just a thought! Keep up the good work!

Re: My Map in the making
Looking good Mehby- I saw you were slaving away in the SDK, wondered what you were up to
I like the bit outside that looks like C tower on Dustbowl next a 2fort-ish bridge with a long warehouse like granary in front. Could be some epic fights in that area, presuming there is an objective in the tower or reason for ppl to cross the bridge.
I also like the fact that it looks like you've included plenty of spots for snipers and sentries (is that a little hidey hole above the door in the first pic?)
Only thing I would say, if possible, would be to add more objects (alarm bells, exit signs yada yada) to give some purpose to the buildings. But that's only cos you said you wanted critiscism!
Looking great- can't wait for a link so I can play it!
Anyone wants to post a thread up with some mapping tips, fine by me!
I don't suppose anybody here fancies taking the wheel so to speak i want this map finished but it just bores the crap out of me lately i'd love to say it's nearly complete, even though play wise it probably is it looks so god damn ugly and the lights arent anywhere near done. so yeah if you want the map you can have it, just pm and ill find a way to send it across.
It probably would be done and look better if i hadn't taken so many "shortcuts" but i couldn't resist. lesson learnt i guess.
Send me it, i havent been mapping for a few months now and i want to get back into it. I have untill september off now so i need a project to work on.

I know that Jack has taken up the reigns, but I am sure that Sam would make a far better job of this, if his own stunning, perfecto, grandiose map is anything to go by...
