Allright, now I don't wanna be a pita and push this too hard, but please help me understand something;

I asked several times on the servers #1 and #2 if people dislike the nocrit server for a reason or if they wanna come and play there (asked the latter one when there were only a few on), the answers allways were very vague, a la "Nah, I like it but for now let's stay...DAMN crit-killed again!!" etc.

Yesterday I sat on the server for a good while all alone while watching a movie trying to lure some people onto the server (see what you're doing to me?! lol) but I had to give up.

Now my question is, do you guys plan on maybe holding some events on the nocrit server (like the one ytd on #3 iirc) or something to promote it?

I honestly doubt Im good enough for scrims or pickups or w/e random matches are called in the TF2 scene, so I'd love to see this server fill with more people so we can play the game a bit more the way it was intended...kind of sick of spamfests on 10+vs10+ servers. Needless to say, the other nocrit servers I managed to find with a ping lower than 100 either ran crappy custom maps or the playerbase spoke east-european languages which makes communication rather difficult. Beside the fact that I'd prefer to play with people I kind of know and whose skill-level I can relate to.

P.S.: In case I misunderstood the use of this server and it's only a league-practice-server that you open up to the public while it's not needed, forgive my ignorance.

Well actually server4 is this the server that is the least like what Valve intended The player count is too low and crits are off

Server4 is open to the public yup, and I would like to see it more popular as well. For me I like crits and no-crits, it's a what mood your in at the time kind of thing for me.

Haha, yeah, I meant intended by...non-spammers *cough*

I sometimes do like crits as well, nothing like taking out 5 people at once with a crocket but it'd be nice to be able to get a feel for the competitive side of the game as a "noob" as well.

I think if the server-redirect would work that would be a great first improvement.

Btw I hope you understand this as I mean it, as (positive) input, Im not complaining.

Next time I see you sitting alone I'll come play....even though I hate no-crit....takes the fun out of the game lol

The reason it might be hard to get people onto it could just be the number of servers...Server 1 always fills up first, followed by 2 or 3, 4 is only when those are full lol...

Also if people are on server 1,2 or 3 a lot of the time they don't wanna leave a server where they're guaranteed to have a bit of fun, even though crits are on and annoying them, to go to a semi-empty server...

But yeah...try use steam friends to fill it up or something ...I know there's a largish contingent of HH that hate crits

I have always came to the nocrit server when someone invites me. Sometimes I go to the nocrit server and wait untill someone comes, because playing on sv 4 is ALOT of fun. Not too many players like in server 1 makes it more relaxing to play.

I love the nocrit server.

It's more of a private pickup server Just ask ppl on irc and it starts to fill up usually, and then it's fun

It's ALWAYS fun.

I managed to drag a few people on there yesterday but i had to go and as soon is i left so did everyone else

Makes mental note to try server 4 sometime.

I allways go for 3 first, just love the goldrush maps , if thats full then its the first space on 1 or 2.

Crits have nether bothered me, just part of the game.
4 will probably show just how bad i realy am .
