i was wondering if anyone could help me out, my steam account keeps signing me in and out all the time, i dont notice it when im playing but my friends tell me its realy annoying seeing "bomaster is playiny tf2 now" every 5 mins. any help woud be appreciated

check for updates would be my first port of call.

I've seen this with a few people, Sarge Hard Place and Extra have it now and again.

If its annoying other people, they can disable it under file, settings, friends.

i suppose not but it is a bitch trying to talk to people cos its always cutting me off, but other than that i just have to deal with people winging at me.
i have all the updates, i am on wireless, and apparently it been playing up for about 3 or 4 months now and iv had steam and the same set up for years. cheers any way guys

Really doesnt bother me, i thought that was just a function of steam community, to tell you when your mates were logging onto a game so if you felt like joining em you could...

Yeah, i think its about every 10 minutes or so with you in steam (sometimes more), really doesnt bother me that much, it lasts all of what? 5 seconds? and its not like it minimises my game or anything...

well iv tried, updating steam and serched for remedies and found butkiss so theres nothing more i can do, plus its not that big a deal. i did notice it happening to a few people today tho so i think it might be happening alot, its just i takes people to tell you for you to notice it.
