Post Source TV issues
I was watching the match between HH and c2 (good game by the way) yesterday night on Source TV and noticed something rather strange. Apparently, it wasn't possible to switch between the players by pressing the left mouse button as it is usually when watching games on Source TV. Instead, the camera seemed to switch randomly between the players and fix angles, which made it hard to follow the action.

At first I thought the problem was on my end, but NegCreep told me he had the same problem, so I assume it has something to do with the settings of the HHTV. So, does anyone happen to know why it is set up this way, seeing as I'm clueless. :?

It's not a problem. It's part of the match configuration that we use.

Ah, I see. So this is working as intended. I don't suppose there's a way around it, is there? :(

If it's intent is to stop ghosting then I suppose not.

For those who don't know and are too lazy to look it up, ghosting is:
Quote:
A technique used in online games, usually team-based 'last man standing' first-person shooters, where dead players inform their team mates who are still alive of the whereabouts of the enemy: this is generally considered cheating.

From wikipedia.

I reckon the 90 secs delay may stop that ;)

Auto director wont let you view spies, first person view will.

Also 90 secs delay, whilst sufficient to stop people reporting locations on mobile players isnt enough to stop them warning of sentries and suchlike.

If you download the demo afterwards you have full views enabled - ie first, 3rd and roaming and can switch between players.
