This seems to be empty a lot of the time, but 2fort is running most of the time (shouldn't be on there at all) so i wonder if this is reason why ppl arent playing on it.

Also heard a few comments about turbine on the normal server, about it being boring etc, so i wonder if it would be worth taking it out of the main map cycle and only being available on the custom server.

It was kinda announced too soon

I do agree that most custom maps should be
removed from map rotation of the main server.

The idea is that the normal maps will still be
available on the custom server. At the end of
each round there will be a vote for the next
map.

had some problems with your custom server the last couple of nights

2 nights ago i connected, selected my team then it went to the start up screen, set at 1 min on castle. seemed to just sit there. I was added as a spectator rather than a team. I told rizzla1 and he came on and changed the level to 2fort, but i still couldnt start a game. I left and joined another server cos i think a did enough admin bothering for that night.

then tonight, i got a friend of mine to connect with me, incase it was because i was on my own that caused the above problem.
i connected, selected team, then presented with the start up screen, set at 1 min on castle. Friend had exactly the same problem, could select team, but then start up screen. Both were now in as spectators.

I dont think its a problem my end cos i can play fine on your other servers.

Hope this can be fixed so i can play on some custom maps for a while.

It's still work in progress at the mo'. the prob is not your end (oo-er missus ) cos others have had the same probs. Please bear with us. normal service will be resumed as soon as possible.

A little update...

I've started the process of reinstalling.
Quite slow downloading maps so it will take a few days.

Aiming to be finished Tuesday as I will be leaving for my xmas holiday Wednesday.

Same here might get a better bunch on there that are winging half the time when turbine comes on...

I've reinstalled the server and uploaded a few custom maps.
I noticed that in the old installation some maps were not fully uploaded which probably
explains why they did not work at least. Hopefully the reinstall will have sold the problems
with the regular maps.

Please try and login and see if everything downloads fine and report any problems back
to this thread.
