YOU ARE ALL NUBS!

had a similar thing like that today on the last part of dustbowl. some dude whines and complains about medics being crap and about us all being nubs. Now I will admit that the team spirt and cooporation was a bit low, but it was fairly obvious we had a couple of people who were completely new to the game (building a sentry right infront of blue spawn for instance). Now while i was frustrated at the lack of team play i was more than up for defending them from being called nubs. Map change and we play granary, and i make it a point to notice what nub-caller has been doing. And basically he and his clan mate were utterily terrible, playing as a spy and using teleports, playing an engineer and not even setting up teleports, both pretty low on the score boards. so basically i got my satisfaction from taunting him and asking him where all his l33t skillz are.

admittedly a bit mean, but the moral of the story is I like flaming arrogant people and am always up for a bit of verbal muck throwing, usually gets them to think twice before they use the N word again :p

Ha, yes. I must admit, he bawled like a baby about the medics. But it wasnt our end that was lacking.
I gave my uber to a demo man who was about to die, thinking I might save him in time, but alas I wasnt quick enough. So I gave what was left to a solly who I thought was going to go on the offensive. But instead just sat there like a blue lightbulb.

So I gave it to the next solly I saw. And he sat there too. Basically a whole uber wasted. And I saw the said whinger, himself as a solly, staring down on us from the little safe spot about to type himself into a stupor over how crap us medics were.

Then I left and went to watch Monk.

Nice to know its not just me who gets fed up with the arrogant guys who start throwing abuse

i find it quite humourous when guys call everyone else nubs when they are doing very silly and loner type activites. Complaining for instance that the team is useless when all that person has contributed is having a little sniper war. Or when defending gravel pit and losing quite badly how we were all idoits when all was doing was running around as a scout 5 miles from the point we were defending killing the occasional spy.
