Why not limit every class to 3, but keep Snipers at 2? Overflow of any class is boring imo.

Re: MAX Class
i dunno sometimes those situations when a team is behind and someone says 'right, pyro rush!' are quite fun... too many of the other classes and it usually becomes unbalanced, though not in their favour... my opinion ofc and am happy to roll with whatever
I'm sorry but I'm not liking this at all. 2 snipers is fine, but the rest? For a start, why limit the demos to 3? Why limit them at all? I don't see any logic to it. They can attack and defend, and I've never known a problem of too many demos. And 3 engineers is a pain if they are terrible engineers.
If you ask me all this does is encourage people to stick in the same class all game because they might not get the opportuinity to switch back again. One of the elements of TF2 is switching classes to suit the situation. This is eroding that.
totally agree with spiderbloke, pretty unhappy about these changes.
limiting any class seems a bit extreme to me (4 snipers ehy? field a bunch of spies and teach them a lesson). and I think a lot of people were quite surprised playing today.
I also agree that i think this will mean people might try and stick to one class so they dont lose the slot BUT i feel that's completely contrary to the idea behind a game like this; where people are free and encouraged to make quick team/class calls to adapt to any situation you come across. If you get bogged down by tons of sentries, get the spies and demomen on the case, get bogged down by snipers, get more spies and better snipers, get bogged down by spies get pyros. Etc etc.
In a way I feel this is the concequence of inexperienced behaviour of players joining tf2. I mean everyone 'KNows' that there's no point having 5+ engineers, and everyone 'KNow' that 4-5 snipers can lead to bad situations, which means that the REASOn we're getting these situations is just because people are new and trying it out. They see someone else kicking ass as an engineer and want to have a go. If they do poorly at it then someone else sick and tired of watching them screw up decides to make sure they do a better job of it etc.
But the problem is that this is bound to happen as people try and learn the game. But really I think we just have to put up with it, rather than limit people's freedom to play how they want to play. At the end of the day they want to have fun too. And basically they will learn NOT to do that, and to try and make sure team classes are balanced through crap games and losing.
plus it does give a team the option of a well orginised suprise attack of pyros or scouts etc etc.
So consider me a bit of a nay sayer to this idea. Would really hope this decision might be reconsidered?

100% agreement here. As I have stated before, I'm against limits of any kind.

Agree with this too. Let the "rock, paper, scissors" effect do it's job. If a team has 5 engineers, then more fool them I say. I usually leave any servers I've been on if they have class limits.
