Just bumped into this pile a while ago on Steam forums, a big list of guide compiled by Evil Daedalus, a few of which have helped me improve a bit (spy mostly) but i certainly learned a lot from the Scout one.

wow, that evil deadleus very good player, a very good scout. Class when he jumps on heavys head and bats him to dealth , gotta try that.

Cool, I sorely need some medic tips as I am hopeless!

My thoughts about how to be a good medic, suggestions are welcome.

* Stay Alive(A dead medic is a bad medic and will ofcourse build up ubers faster)
* Keep others alive(this include other medics)
* Learn to switch targets when uber(2 players are easy,3 is possible but harder)
* Dont stick to the heavy/pyro(keep all alive)
* If possible go back to back(watch your back for enemies/spy)
* Remember where healthpacks are, they will save you
* Stay Alive
If i had a mic i would also add: speak.

Yeah evil Deadalus is a ace player, and his scout guide has inspired me it really helped me get better a scout, i mean tonight i actually killed someone by skill not fluke thanks to advice in his guide

One thing id add would be just because you area medic does not mean you cant defend yourself, the bonesaw is you friend.

Evil Daedalus = God at source games- well known on the scene so im told.

anyone ever play the Daedalus mod a while back? I didnt but was wondering if it was worth a shot.

atm Im having quite a bit of fun with Zombie Panic! Building up a blockade in a room and hearing hordes of undead shuffling about just makes me think how awesome L4D is gonna be.
Release for L4D=September... but hey, who would want to rush valve?

Yeah, but look at some of his videos, he does seem to play against some right numpties occasionally.
Take that scout video of his. Some of them heavies he was attacking were slower to react than Dustin Hoffman in Rain Man.
