Here's the great thing. HLStatsX:CE is open-source. So if you can think of a way of improving it then you can get involved. It's the best (and perhaps the only active) alternative to gameME. (Sadly, PsychoStats appears to be dead in the water.)

If there is an interest in a more regular stat reset, then a server poll could be created with options for reset cycles. e.g. (monthly, bimonthly, quarterly, biannual, etc.)
I think that every player needs to be assigned with a supervisor who will watch them play and then discuss how many points was his contribution and braveness worth to help his team.
On a side note... Can the (three) most valuable player(s) award be awarded to the losing team as well? Is it something that can be easily added or would it require some coding to do and is really not worth the effort? Because the three players' window in the losing team is already showing, so that piece of coding is already covered, but no points are awarded. Because why punish someone who is in the worse team but he is trying really hard?

I would be in favor of this poll. Biannually sounds good to me.
I'm just gonna throw this out there cause this is something thats been nagging me.
Stop comparing your stats to other players, in fact stop caring about the stats full stop, it will always favor those that play more, it's just the way it will pan out in the long run. I use to like having the stats because i'm interested to know how many assists im getting, points i capture and other stuff, but it will never count all the game winnign stuff that goes on, now days I'm fed up of playing in matches where almost everyone is scared to do anything cause their pristine 3.0 kd ratio will take a dent and they loose 12 points to the new guy that killed him.
It's the same in every game i can think of that has stats built in, BC2, RO2, BF2. So long as there is a kill death ratio tracker you will always get some players sitting at the back killing people raking in a top score and not much else. Stats will never track distractions, medic premature uber pop's or any other match winning stuff.
The sooner we all start caring about important thing, winning and loosing the better the games will be for us all.
