A plugin is being trialled on our servers. It give medics the option to jump with the person they are currently healing.

How it works:

• Be a Medic.
• Fill your charge to at least 20%.
• Heal any player, wait till they jump/rocketjump/stickyjump.
• Jump and keep holding the jump key down.

The medic beam becomes like a piece of elastic. There is some degree in control depending on how long you keep the jump key held down.

I know it might seem a little unusual to do something like this on HH servers. So remember it's only a trial. I thought it would be good to at least try it out and get some opinions on it. Preferably after you've given it a go, or seen it in action.

Trial ends on Monday 17th October.

This sounds like great fun and a good way to keep the numbers of medics up on the servers.

"Don't leave me behind you shithead!" is one of my most common medic cries.

I know it's gamebreaking.
I know it's a crutch for clueless soldiers.
But it's so awsome! I love it.

It's really fun but I think it's too gamebreaking (medics can keep up with scouts by elastic banding along with them) to use on something like HH1, maybe keep it to HH2, since it's already a 'fun' server with the crits.

Despite the fact that it's not exactly easy or safe for a medic to do this, how does it break the game?

I think it's a great idea and would love to see it added to some medigun as a buff, but it's just that we're known for having servers with no game changing plugins on our main servers and I feel a bit hesitant because of that.

But as you said, it's a trial. Maybe we can have it on for a few weeks, reminding people it's on trial and collect opinions of the player base with the query plugin (we still have it right?) before we decide on anything.
