a fun plugin to try, but it could create a number of problems for the high-jumping medic as he lands in front of, say, a lvl 3 sentry I really like the sounds it comes with though

HH regs are pros. If this mod would run on HH1 for a couple of months, I predict you would see players learn how to use it effectively, even without voice communication. Soldiers would call medic before they jump. They would also learn how they can save their Medic by jumping away - something you wouldn't normally do. Demo-Ubers would come out of nowhere. Kritzes would rain from above. Medics would get smarter and not use the jump at every opportunity just for the sake of it. Yeah... That would be cool.
It might be cool once the pros figure out how to counter it, which I imagine ought to be possible. I'm not saying we should use this plugin, but I am pretty sure the players on the HH servers would learn to use it and counter it effectively, much in the way that they counter ubers currently.

Airshoot the medic?
Its difficult to counter something thats a straight upgrade. Mitigate perhaps.
I do think it would be an interesting bonus for the Quick Fix, considering its currently inferior to Uber/Kritz.
Now I can actually heal Sollys and Demomen and stick with them. The ammount of times I'll be healing one only to lose them when they're halfway healed as they jump to a place I can't get to.
People just don't think of the Medic who is keeping them healed
Well, well, well, look what the medic can now officially do in TF2.

Valve's trying to get more people using the Quick Fix.
This is definitely going to have a negative effect on gameplay such as that found on HH1. It's going to mean a higher proportion of people playing Medic at any one time are going to be playing it badly (i.e. not what's best for their team).
Yes, being able to do things like in the clip is awesome, but it's frankly stupid.
