Ping is for diagnosing network issues rather than server issues, therefore the issue is regarding your network connection from your pc to our server. Other servers will have different routes, so comparison is of limited use. More than likely it's a routing issue that will fix itself.
Try pinging thehh.co.uk from a Windows command prompt and the compare the difference. The way Valve calculates their ping values is not exactly the same as a conventional ping.
If everyone was experiencing a high ping then the problem would either be an issue at our data centre or that our server was being DoSed.

That's unfortunate for you but if you are looking for a solution in the direction of the server then you are looking in the wrong place.
With a good connection, the server is responding fine.

So like I said, if it was happening for everyone then it would be the server or the data-centre, and that it's probably a routing problem related to your particular connection and ISP.
Try running a traceroute, tracert thehh.co.uk it will highlight the problem area.
