Re: ETF2L Highlander Season 2 - HH Team discussion
Probably won't be playing tonight. The Ultimatum bestowed upon me by Linc, that I'll have to play heavy, has pissed me off, and so I doubt I'll continue much longer, as it looks like cover is everywhere.
This is Reggie, jumping ship because he can't man the wheel.

Well you play what the team needs, thats what being a team is about. Leading is a hard enough job at the best of times, almost zero recognition and tons of work organising. Giving clear and simple demands is quite understandable (and necessary).
If you step up and be the boss, you get to give orders. If you offer to be a minion, you take them.

Yes, it kinda sucks when you have to play a class you didn't want to, maybe if the player who was going to be the class had to leave for whatever reason.
Heck, I chose Heavy, Medic and Pyro as my classes the first time I played and ended up playing Engineer instead. I still had fun and found I could actually play that class.
The only thing I can say is suck it up and play. You may find yourself having fun with the class you were forced to use.
Just remember, in Highlander, freedom of choosing any class you want isn't really available unlike normal game modes. You can't have 3 Scouts, 2 Soldiers, 1 Heavy, a Medic and 3 Demomen for example. There has to be one of every class.
