Post Map Voting System Beta Test on HH3 and HH2
A Beta test of a new map voting system is running on HH3. It utilises a bleeding edge extension that allows the display of custom votes via Valve's built-in voting system. This is where function keys are used to select options.

Be warned that server crashes may well occur, but in using it we are helping to debug and arrive at a more stable version.

Please report any problems in this thread, with as much information as you can, i.e. if you don't see the map selection panel, then please state what HUD you are using, or if there is a crash, then at what point it seemed to occur.

I am having trouble getting the correct menu up. Using the admin command to force a vote I get the old menu using 4-8 instead of the function key based. I am quite possibly missing something very obvious here.

It seems that the extension unloaded. It's should be back working again. Although I haven't joined to test it, I can see that it is responding.

Map votes trigger from the SourceMOD admin menu will (may) not display a F-keys menu, although the sm_mapvote command as a bind or in console will.

The current set up is more for testing the automatically triggered vote that occurs towards the end of the current map. Although you are welcome to try out any other method.

Tested it again and it showed up using the function keys. I used Broeselhud.

To speed up this process the beta test is now running on HH2. It will be closely monitored, and if it causes a crash then it will be switched off.

Bug that you may already know, but the new voting pop-up and the end of round losing team top 3 scorers box are on top of each other when up at the same time.

It would also be nice to able to see how the current vote is going and see other peoples vote. I've often changed my vote based on how the vote was going. Does !revote still work?

Ok, not so much a bug, rather an interference. Which one is actually on top?

This is a bug test of the voting panel, rather than a feature request. The underlining voting mechanics are not relevant at the moment, and then one that is in place is not representative of what will be used in the long run.

Could you decrease the countdown? 1 minute is rather annoying. like 10 or 15 seconds?

This is for my benefit. This is a beta test. You'll just have to tolerate it for a short while.
