We recently conducted an audit of sprays used on our TF2 servers. There were quite a number that were either inappropriate, distasteful or illegal.

In the interests of the community, and in reference to recent UK legislation, we have decided to restrict the use of sprays to registered regulars, members and donors. This applies to HH1 through to HH5, with the exception of HH4 where sprays have been turned off for more than 6 months.

I hope that everyone understands why this decision was made. To continue to be able to use sprays on our servers is a simple as registering on this forum and making a request to become a regular.

It's unfortunate when the actions of the few impact on the many, but that's the usual story.

The restriction will become active on the morning of November 16th.

And that's ignoring the Efrath pony sprays!!

Definately some obscene ones, and some iffy ones (no cp though, but some that were legally iffy), it is however worth playing it safe.

I approve... even if it may result in my dear old Boris wanted poster never being sprayed on HH server again

During my time as admin for another gaming site, we've had the whole completely illegal cp spray thing

The culprit was banned from every single game server we had, and we got the idiot's IP address from the server logs, and sent that info off to the ISP as well.
I think little Johnny had the fun of explaining to mom and dad exactly why the ISP cut off their internet.

But and this is the important point, remember to clear your image caches in case that spray persists anywhere and certainly delete any screen shots of it

Are you saying that you are unable use your spray? Certainly wouldn't want to stop you from doing that. As you are a registered regular it should work fine, just as long as you have the correct steamid in your user settings.
