I had made a typo, so it wasn't fixed on any of the servers. All servers run from a single TF2 install and configs are shared across them all. By default (when there isn't a map config file) a map will run for 45 minutes. It might have felt like it, but it wasn't an hour.
I've corrected the typo and now it's definitely going to be 30 mins from now on. Sorry about the mistake.

Oh and it went into stalemate mode last night when the cap timer ran down ,instead of the usual mad melee suddendeath mode

I think that happened at around about the time that dazed made his post and then I changed the time limit, mid map, to 30 minutes, when more then 30 minutes had probably been played. It won't happened again.
