I played for some time yesterday evening and it felt really good - very smooth and no stuttering for me in West Sussex.

I was high on a Haribo sugar rush though, so my judgement may have been impaired. 8-)

It's all dependant on the connections different ISPs have with different Internet routes. What might be slow from one particular ISP in one country, might be faster with another ISP in the same country. I'm certainly not suggesting that you change ISP!

I'm nearly illiterate regarding networks which probably accounts for my previous statements.
But yeah, I just went to HH1 with a neighbour that uses another local ISP and he was smooth sailing with 30 while I was stuck on >120. My ISP does sucketh and I've had other problems with them but it is the only one I can afford.
Thanks again.

Sorry to hear that it's your ISP. You never know, but for some reason, we may end up moving again. It all depends on the overall feedback.

You get used to the timing's between wrench swings, etc, and it just seems a touch shorter than usual.

I had exactly this feeling. I'm so glad somebody else mentioned it because I thought I was going crazy. Felt like the game was running maybe 10% or so faster than normal. I actually meant to test it by timing how long it took me to run a set distance but I forgot to local host and get a "control" time...

Other than that the server seemed to be running very smoothly. Is this a hardware respec (faster cores, less of them) or a straight upgrade? No ping problems either.

for me it feels ok but one or two others have said to me the server feels strange, this here from stormypoo (who cba to register and post himself lol)

I didn't feel that hit reg was off at all really, if I was missed it was because things were moving fractionally faster than I am used to. Anyway, last time I played it felt "normal". I guess if I feel like its a little off again I'll record a demo and make a note of the date/time.

Wasn't interp always capped though? Doesn't really bother me for scouting/sniping anyway, and its not toooooo bad for projectiles.

On HH1, could someone with a stopwatch on their watch make a comparison of round time on the server and on their stopwatch.

Some changes have been made so, hopefully, the TF2 servers no longer feel like they are running a little too fast.
