Do you really think we program the TF2 modification and create all the maps? Three quarters of the stuff you have listed is unfixable by us.

Maybe we should also take in bug fixes for TF2 on valves behalf.

I understand more than enough why the control point is added to maps. It's to bring the round to a conclusion, makes the boss player go to a specific point in order not to lose the round.

Saxtoner mode broke after the latest mandatory TF2 update. Kemsan, the author, has been offline for a few days. I have been working with him on it and it's still in private beta. HH4 was one of only 3 servers running it. I don't have time at the moment to try and fix what broke, so HH4 is now temporarily running a similar, but programmatically immature mode called Freak Fortress 2, it's new and there are issues with it. Currently the best way of testing it is to serve it up to angry boys and get them to shout at it.

Capping the control point has always been part of Saxton Hale mode. I wrote the first little patch to improve on the original release, which you can find here, http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread ... ost1398610 . It was then incorporated into the mode. There are now cvars builtin to the mode to allow capping once there are X number of players left alive.

Capping is allowed, it's part of the game. It gives the opponents a chance to win when their numbers are low and the Boss still has a lot of health. It also allows the Boss to draw out camping players that wasting time or scouts that have confused a Boss fight game with Hide'n'Seek or Kiss Chase.

The chat filter is for blocking abuse and insults. Don't like it? Tough ****.
