The maps ok, but gets really boring really fast imo.

As you may have noticed all our TF2 servers are running the Doomsday map 24/7. One of the reasons for this is demand, but the primary one is that a few sourcemod related things where broken by the update. I've been a bit ill the past few days and so haven't mustered the focus to comb through things, hopefully sometime tomorrow (29th) a bit of variety will be restored, but I think at least a couple of servers should remain in Pyromania mode for the coming days until interest starts to wane. Another update from Valve is coming later tonight to fix some of the issues and exploits with the new map and googles. |

People seemed quiet content with the servers today so far as i could tell. agree whole heartedly with the doomsday map atm. |

Its fun for a bit of maniac fighting and all round stupidity for a couple of rounds But it does seem rather limited in terms of game play Hey ho soon be back to our normal badlands/granary/obscure/coldfront rotation.... come on folks... would it kill you to vote for steel once in a while?.... All servers are back to normal now, and miraculously HH2 now seems to have reached a reputation threshold so that it is now receiving Quickplay traffic again. Please let's keep the ball rolling with this. If you regularly play on a Quickplay server, and previously Uberium and THG has been your go to server, for that, purely because it has been populated, then please do switch back to HH2 so that it's momentum is sustained. Is it possible to put replay on hh2? That's the main reason I don't want to play there. |

This thread isn't intended for discussion about switching replay around between servers. There is already a thread for that. Bah, I created a 1GB ramdisk and from tomorrow HH1-HH4 should all have replay enabled. The main reason for previously only having replay enabled on 1 server was the amount of I/O to the filesystem.
