Valve's TF2 Halloween event starts soon and our servers will be supporting it.

HH1 and HH2 will have 1 Halloween map included in every map vote.
HH3 will be 24/7 Halloween maps.
HH6 will be 24/7 'koth_lakeside_event', the new Halloween map due to be released.
HH7 will be 24/7 'mvm_coaltown_event', the new MvM Halloween mission. When Valve fix MvM on Linux servers

Sourcemod will break with this update and with that all the bells and whistles that depend on it. As soon as Sourcemod is updated, then service will return to normal, this includes the FF2 on HH4.

I will be playing because they added positional audio support for mumble.

Sourcemod is now working on most servers. Some features that are supported by extensions, such as the backup item server and function key voting are still disabled until the required extension is updated.

MvM is broken on Linux, but it's down to Valve to fix that.

Got called a fucking gay **** among other stuff on the halloween server for killing people (+ lots of rage and people wanting to votekick me for "ruining the fun", when all I did was kill em). Yep, killing people in TF2 is apparently against the rules now or something. Jeez. Knew this update wasn't worth checking out...

Lots of people here have been gagged and all kinds due to non-members and if you get the names of the people doing this sort of thing, it can be sorted out.

I have no idea when you guys are playing though because nothing has ever happened to me due to non-members being immature, self-entitled arseholes.


How do the people playing have anything to do with the apparent "worthiness" of an update?

It's worth baring in mind the last Halloween update was much the same in regards to the desire to get the items.

Will calm down after a few days, but the best thing I can suggest is go scout with a more hp load out (Milkman?) or Spy with a Dead Ringer just incase someone attempts to stop your crate grab in the Haunted area.

Grit your teeth and bare with it essentially.

Valve have released a patch for the MvM issue on Linux. Our MvM servers should be working fine now.
