What does everyone who's played this think? Personally, I liked it once I got used to the map. Firstly, it's huge! I found it really difficult to find my teammates on the first spawn, but once I got into the action, I enjoyed the differences between the control points, there's a fair bit to think about. Plus it's a nice taster for Goldrush! Shame I got my ass handed to me though, not a great start for the new months stats!

I tried that too yesterday on server 2. It was fun but everyone got lost all the time. |

Complete rip-off of Gold Rush and is bugged to hell, me and Goober watched the tnt box from inside the cart fly off through the wall nad the cart got stuck when it was our turn to push it back. Too dark for team id i found myslef getting beaten by someone i thought was on my team although the outside areas are ok. And did i mention i found myslef lost in some dark cave for 5 minutes then found fury who sohwed me the light |

Too big. When defending for the first time, my team went the wrong way so the attackers got the first couple of caps for free. If it could be split up into smaller levels like Dutbowl and what Goldrush will be like it would be better. Like Ares said, it needs more light and direction. Otherwise though when we got defending properly, it was a good, well laid out map. 7/10 |

I agree with everyone who said the map is too huge. The first time around I ran completely into the wrong direction and didn't stop until I arrived at the end of the tracks. The fact that I was playing Heavy at that time didn't really help either. I think I'd prefer it if the map was divided into different sections like Dustbowl, so you don't have to walk as far as you have to do now. Otherwise it's a fun map provided you get at least ten people on every side. Some parts were really nice designed as well. It's definitely worth playing, but I'm hoping for a better experience when Goldrush is released. |
