I'm not really sure about this. At first I hated the decisions they made, because multiubbering as really something I try to do as often as possible and more often than not, it leads to victory.
However, after thinking about it for a while, I'm not really sure whether it will really affect gameplay that much, at least in a pub game. It's rare that you even get two people to line up for one uber and usually you can't uber them until the end because they tend to split up. The only time it makes a difference is in a clan match.
And I thinkl that's the reason they nerfed it. If you have a good Medic he can easily uber three or four people and if they stick together, they become almost unstoppable. The change makes this more of a tactical choice. When is it good to use 10 seconds and only uber one person and when will it be more succesful to uber a lot of people but reduce the time of invincibility.
At any rate, I think this will result in a lot of good Medics simply ubering one person, using himself and his ubbered buddy to draw fire away from the rest of the team and only ubering them if they really are in danger. I will have to wait and see how it plays out.

Well Multi Uber i thought was a tactic not a cheat or whatever and i cant really think would complain but ahwell lets see how this affects team tactics.

all i can see happening is more bad medics just latching on to one player and not bothering to heal the rest of the team even more. I've lost count of the number of times i've died whilst jumping around in front of a medic spamming the heal button or been on fire on the cap and the medic is standing oblivious to all of us but his target. Thankfully H|H has plenty of great medics so we should be ok.
Yeah, this sucks, but as finis said, its really rare to have two people sticking/working together when you uber them, chances are that you have a fragoholic amongst them who rather cares about the scoreboard than the Sg nests ahead... But i dont think that the nerf will encourage (bad) medics to latch on to just one player. At least, I think the medic is still more useful when he is there to heal the team from a safe position and not to rush ubered into a herd of enemies (although sometimes its necessary and, god knows, fun)
The point is this, i think. Bad soliders all of a sudden got lots of crits. then good soliders got their ammo reduced. All in the name of balancing. equally good players in other classes slowly getting morphed to balance the game play. I have no problem with fixing senturies under the map or being able to shoot through walls but multi ubering seems more like a skill than a cheat. so is rocket jumping next? cuz some ppl cant jump? (i used to be one of them ) at some point other ppl will be better. tbh yes that does suck at time but at the same time, at least for me, I find it a way to learn. One of the reasons i joined |H|H| was simply because there were alot of good player and lots of players that were better than me (a few...some...ok most are still better than me) but that just brought my game up. It wierd that in a game thats desiged for diffrent roles. finds it self in a pattern that might end in a situation where its all characters abilities are really limited? sorry im ranting just worried that its all gonna end up in a WoW situation where it turns into a flavor of the month or a certain way to be.
ure absolutely right, ive just read a comment somewhere saying approximately the same. People cant play or get beaten by someone who is better; those people have 2 options: a) try to get better, be it through training, training, training, or by playing another class that suits them better
b) Complain on the official forums to get the people who beat them nerfed.
Sadly enough, most (or at least a lot, otherwise ValvE wouldnt listen to them) choose option b)...

I don't think anyone complained to Valve about it.
Earlier I was defending on Dustbowl and I needed to multi-uber several people to extinguish the flames before they died. Unfortunately it only lasted 4 or 5 seconds =(
