I loved to play granary, badlands, freight etc. And since every pl map is just a spam map and most people including me don't really like them, they almost never get played on the server (not that I want to complain about that :))
But there is only so many of the other "good" maps left, they get kinda boring after years and years of play :)
Would it be possible to add some nice custom 5cp maps to the pool? I would really like that. What do you ppl think about that? [beer]

I think running custom maps on a server will remove it from the quickplay pool, thats why all the nice custom ones are on the deserted HH1.

And yet you can get put onto Vs Saxton Hale, randomiser, and !premium bullsh*t server when you use the random tool.

Seems fair, eh? :(

Hm are you sure then that quickplay doesn't work with custom maps? If vs saxton hale and stuff like that work it seems kinda odd :S

VSH and FF2 are popular due to the ratio of VSH/FF2 servers versus the number of VSH/FF2 players, plus unique content and configuration.

cp_process (i think process was added to the standard pool recently)
cp_croissant_rc11
cp_metalworks_rc4

Perhaps we should then be trying to encourage people to play on HH1? I know often in the evenings I can't get on HH2 as it's full, so from now on I'll start heading over to HH1 when this is the case.

Also if HH1 has more maps that's better!

Just noticed that HH1 has no random crits... should definitely be playing there by default!

To be honest I don't really know what maps to add :) I just wanted to know whether it's even possible or not. I'm open to any new map, preferably a 5cp map.
I guess the ones you suggested are fine. I think it's important though, that if a map turns out to be one that clears the server, it should be removed from the pool again.

I would suggest to add snakewater (dazed always asks for this one and I think it's a nice map as well) and also I think that the new official map cp_process is not in the voteable pool of maps? So maybe add that one as well.

And about server 1, I think most regs would love to play on server 1, it used to be like this in the past but it will be non quickplay all the time cause of no random crits (as far as I understand it) and there are just not enough regs to keep it filled anymore :( So I think we have to rely on server 2.
