(Old Idea to stale and has been done before) Hey all thought i would share my progress on my new tf2 map that i am currently developing its a warehouse type map but i want to try and add moving objects by pressing buttons - open and closing of garage doors on the warehouse - a huge outside as well and basically make it fun for all so i want to show my progress its only about 3% done haha. But i like feedback it helps me a lot with my map making. Please comment with anything you want adding and i will try and do my best and will create a room full of the names that helped with the development of the map ;) :D promise... (Oh the garage door opens manually at the minute but is planned to open by an in game button) All possible and i can do most things with hammer been using it for a good 3 years :) ) (Old idea was to stale and has been done before)

Project has been changed to the below. Its know going to be a facing worlds remake much better map and lot more entertaining than the first initial idea. Rotating sky box, epic combat and competition, symmetric. Capture points, CTF, and death match game modes.

Always admire people who design maps. I just don't have the patience for it. So what game mode is this for? Control point? Will hold off on any ideas until you are a bit further into it. Keep us posted!

Thanks for the reply will do but i have changed the project to a more in depth one called Facing worlds its a Unreal Tournament remake that's going to be compatible with most game types here's what it looks like in unreal tournament and al post my map which is about 12%



Map Theme will be added on TF2 and the graphic style will be TF2 not unreal so more HDR control point will be in center and intel in each base here's the map am following in my development. Please feel free to comment.

Update 1.1 Bit of texturing and tower development

Paths between platforms greatly improved using vertexes.

Working on rotating skybox only way i can do this is by making a block on a pivot and adding a motor to the block to spin but unfortunatly it keeps falling onto the level and really messing stuff up going to keep trying thou as the maps looking great. ;) (WAV)

Thanks for the input been waiting a while haha for some updates on this post i liked 3 to :) i think al go with 3 depending on other views if they is any haha. Thanks again ;)

btw remember ze good old Unreal 2fort days gettin you head blown off by snipers the second you spawned... well every 2nd time atleast...

Oh yh i know it was fun but so annoying at the same time. Also a hell of a lot as changed on the map making i can no longer use the above skyboxes they don't like it nor does hammer so am going to have a look around and get a temp one in there been doing some work to the walkways the skybox and the center piece today its currently working on CSGO still a while to go its about 13% i would say.

Plus the towers have been knocked down and are getting redesigned lots of graphical bugs on the previous ones really messing with the game. Not good.
Ahh god dam it that's the problem with hammer 1 step forward 2 steps back the pathways and center have to be remade due to lighting and vector errors that's valve and source sdk for ya.... GOD DAM IT!
