Hello all i wanted to my a player recommendations post that everyone can post their game recommends so people know they are buying a decent game as others have enjoyed it, unfortunately HH hasn't got a game recommendations post so i thought i would create one that all the users can come here when they have a little pocket money to see what games they should buy when they are in a stuck position with so much money and you don't want to waste it on games with no reviews or want more incite from other users and there experience with said game.

I can't say this post will get popular it will more or less have a few posts and get lost in all the other great posts that no one seems to comment on anymore if so then that will be fine i just thought that this idea would help a lot of people in the same position i get in, where i don't get much money and when bills are paid and am in the clear i some left over money for a rare a cation and i just don't want to buy a game that's a waste as it will be a disappointment.

That said lets get started.

First i want to kick the post of by saying that Race The Sun is an amazing buy, its a fast paced dodging game where you are a solar paneled ship that has to try and keep in the sun before it sets and you get left behind with no power.

This game i would say is about boasting you try and beat the other players through a leaderboard to see who can get the furthest, mainly in apocalypse mode where the sun sets faster and they is a lot to dodge before you hit the corner of a block and become atomize into a million pixels .... the fun!

OH THE MAPS ALSO CHANGED EVERY DAY SO ITS A NEW MAP DAILY WITH RESET LEADER BOARDS!

Its well worth the money a lot of fun. Its one of those games where you say 1 more try over and over again, as it seems simple enough.

Even though its 2005 game, it is really good. Some say its even better than COD.
I owned the original in 2005 (Lol young gamer ) and that was really good too, I recommend them both as shooters. The instant action game mode is good for just having a look at the maps and stuff, AI are good on 2 but they seem to target the player when the come near.

If your a SW fan you will love this game, it's basically SW battle reenactment.

Also, its a bargain for £6.49 !

Another great game recommendation which is worth the money. Far Cry 3, Farcry 3 is a hugely enjoyable experience for me, hunting, taking out outpost stealthy, collectibles, wild animals sea and land, its all their for me its perfect.

The story is about getting your friends back from Vaas who en caged you and them for selling while you was on a holiday with your mates and well it went down the S*itt*r pretty much.

Its an 18, contains violence and gore as some of you might not like that sorta stuff. But if your thinking twice about it then get it am sure you wont be disappointed, it also has an easy to use map editor where you can place animals, NPC's, Light sources, and pretty much do what you want with the land.

Seen some of that gameplay,

I have FarCry2 on my Xbox 360, bit like COD, but focuses more on the campaign than anything else (Far Cry).

Because any shooter is a "bit like CoD", never mind the open world, day/night cycles, missions and better developed story .

I'd recommend Bastion to anyone in a heartbeat. Brilliant game, amazingly well narrated, solid soundtrack, and the ending was a gut wrencher.

Bastion, isn't that a bit like Diablo?

It terms of its got an isometric camera angle and you fight hordes of monsters, I suppose so? It isn't really an RPG as such in the strictest sense though, no armour or stat juggling though there are weapon combo choices (you can only have two equipped before heading out). I'll dig a video(s) out when I get back to my PC.

Honestly one of the better Steam sale purchases I've made.

Would also recommend Torchlight both of them, that's like diablo but a bit more TF2 graphic sorta style, plus they is a mod that adds 6 more chapters i think and tons of legendarys which just makes it a whole lot better after the original story line lots of dungeons, and lots of enemys as you rome around the world, in search for epic loot!

I loved playing through "Thomas was alone". Charming little game with a good narrative (for a game about little blocks).

Thomas was alone looks great, nice little game, sounds like its actually got a good story to it aswell. Thanks for shareing. I was thinking about buying this game, knew this post would come in handy.
