Great single player with interesting dynamic gameplay. The open ended approach to mission completion works well and having the customisable weapons and suit add heaps to the genre.

Multiplayer, IMO, not all that great. It's not that the concept is flawed, but its execution is sloppy. I found it incredibly difficult to actually kill anyone, and death usually comes by way of three main methods: grenade spam, claymores, or being shot at from someone half a mile away.
Was I crap because I'm a "noob"? Maybe, but then you'd be miffed if you were killed by an smg, from the other side of the map.
And the nades and claymores just seem like a cheap option. They are far too small to see properly, and the first thing you know about them is when your waiting to respawn.
The whole prestige system is a bit flawed too. You never seem to have enough when you need it. Also doesnt help that the most basic weaponry costs an arm and a leg.
Essentially it's like playing Battlefield 2, complete with your team mates running you over, only you have to buy everything.
So basically, great game, but as it stands the multiplayer isnt going to give Valve any sleepless nights. Needs a patch and some balance changes.
And remember this is just my opinion.
