I used to flim flam around playing whatever game i felt like, noplanning tbh, if i had fond memories of a game I usually dug it out and started playing it, but i never really had a gam i had as my mainstay, one that i always came back to after a quick stint on another one. Then along came C&C Zero Hour, the fast multiplayer action was so addictive i just never stopped playing it, then I eventually gave it up after about 3000 online matches (2100 of which were wins), and then i just played a game here and a game there.
Then TF2 came out, and its been my mainstay game ever since, ive never REALLY left it, even if i take a coupla days off for another game...
I just play until I get screamed at by my parents ^^
Replace parents with wife and thats me when im on .

My problem was any of the CIV games, just one more turn was too hard to resist .

Ditto that. It's less a case of managing my game time between games, but managing my wife's expectations so I don't get grief when I play. I've got it down to playing regularly on Sundays and Wednesdays which sucks the fat one when I have to watch crap on TV that I hate (yes you Big Brother) as the alternative.
