For those who don't know what it is here's a review --->http://uk.pc.gamespy.com/pc/bioware-rpg/877353p1.html Anyone played this? I bought it yesterday and I'm absolutely loving it, I made a badass skinhead chick as my character...she's a real badass - One guy was trying to blackmail her - She just shot him in the face (ok I told her to do it but the option was there in the chat). I love the conversation system - Chat options come up a little bit before you need to speak so you can select your option early and the character then speaks at just the right time. Makes the game a lot more freeflowing. To me the game it seems most similar to is Knights of the old Republic but I prefer this much much more. I'm talking about the PC version btw, I don't have an xbox (pc version's sposed 2 be better anyway, more free-flowing) If you play it DEFINITELY make your own character. Sorry for the jumbledness of this post |

Wouldn't surprise me as it's made by exactly the same people It's a brilliant game, love it. Some of the achievements are a pain though! A tip for anyone getting the party members ones, you really really really really need to pick your team as soon as you land on the Citadel and not do any side quests until you've formed it. Oh, here's my hawt renegade soldier chick on my first playthough: http://5qwlqa.blu.livefilestore.com/y1p ... -33-48.jpg |

Assassins creed was supposed to be better on pc than on consoles, but it isn't. |

The achievements are listed under the options on the PC version.
BioWare did a very good job at porting this, they actually spent a worthwhile 6 months unlike Ubisoft. The interface is a lot more intuitive and suited to mouse and keyboard, which also made the gameplay more free-flowing like slushysnowman says, meaning less pausing to do tactics due to extra keybinds etc. It's a more polished experienced overall than on the 360. |

Yeah loving this at the moment. Running all gfx full whack too on XP tho I disabled the "film grain" effect cos it looked crap tbh. It uses the Unreal 3 engine and Tweak Guides has some good stuff relating to it. http://www.tweakguides.com/ME_1.html |

It does? Last thing I heard (back at 360 release) was that is was a reworked Aurora engine (NWN2, the witcher etc). This also explains the similarity to KoToR etc. Then again i think it was Ipwn who told me this, so purely anecdotal UT3 engine is fine by me! Will be grabbing it next time I'm at the shops for sure- anyone got any good in-game screenies yet? |

oops- I stand corrected, sorry Mad! Am playing it myself now too. Beautiful characters and an interesting plot but they could have made more of an effort on some of the outdoor environments and their textures. Admittedly I'm quite near the start of the game so there might be alot of outdoor beauty to come. I'm not too sure about the combat yet either, but that might have alot to do with the sniper character i rolled. Anyone tried Alone in the Dark yet? If it's as good as those early tech demos looked It'll be my next buy i think. Also spotted Turok in gamestation for £14.99 - was it a flop after all? I know quite a few people were looking forward to it. |

PLyed the PS3 demo of Turok. It wasn't really good. The only fun I found was knifing everyone. Turok made some beautiful kill moves to those dinosaurs. |
