Allright so I just finished Assassin's Creed (~20 hrs of gaming, quite disappointing) and am looking for a new game to play; I'm still waiting for mass effect so I need something to get me through the difficult time in between. Read through some other threads here (like the one about weird games we love for whatever reasons) and I figured maybe you could help me find a good one. To make it short: no specific genre (just no simulators), FPS, RTS, RPG, doesnt matter per se. Just has to be a good game, not too linear, I like to do stuff except working on the main plot (couldnt really in AC) as well (like in the GTA games, lotsa crap u can do). Suggestions? Oh, right, recent games I allready have played: Far Cry, Crysis, Bioshock, HL (everything), Kane & Lynch, SW:Kotor 2, Gears of War, Assassin's Creed, ET:QW, C&C:KW, uh...well, thats about it I guess. P.S.: Completely unrelated but have you guys seen the diablo 3 gameplay trailer? DAMN! I cant wait. |

Kanes wrath pwns! Buy oblivion. It isn't really expensive anymore and it has so much to do. It really could cover your difficult time and the other difficult times you may have. Here's a link for Mads post. It's pretty long. viewtopic.php?f=19&t=1234&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&hilit=another+beautiful |

I think Oblivion is just the game you're looking for there. |

Yeah Haken, just try Titan Quest out, you can get it quite cheap in the "Software Pyramide" in every Media Markt or Saturn, as well as Company of Heroes, which is a good game too I think (both around 10€). I bought Oblivion at Media Markt for around 20€ I think and I can say that it was worth its money! |

Yeah Company of Heros is great. And perhaps try a Hitman game if you don't have one. Blood Money is the best of the lot. Though I still like Silent Assassin. |
