Finish number 1 ( the best 1 ) and number 2 got to the end of number 3 but never found out what to do to finish it.

Where did you get stuck? I bet it was Blood Island, that place killed me until I figured it out. The fourth one was abit of a letdown because of the WASD playstyle and the story wasn't as good as the other 3. And the replacement for swordfighting... horrible. |

As a fan of adventure games in general, I had to drop in and show some support for a great series. I think they originally had planned to make 5 games (the Voodoo Lady mentions an unbreakable five-game contract she's in), but considering the popularity of adventure games at the moment, it seems sadly unlikely. ;_; |

Developers at LucasArts said there will be a fifth, but it's not been planned so far. That was said years ago though.. Who knows? |

ahhhh... what a joy it was to see this thread! And the fact that someone has discovered it since its release just makes u even more awesome for liking it! Even just the opening of monkey island 1 (safely on the hard-disc of my amiga 600!) evokes such a deep nostalgic feeling in me It's hard to describe! The jangly reggae tunes, the pin-point lights of melee island and the pirates by the campfire... what memories... what a game! In total agreement about the succeeding games being hard as hell! With the exception of 4 (if that was the 3d one) which was easy. Monkey 2, however, I ended up playing with a walkthrough that, at the time, was cut out of something like 'amiga action' ...lol... Im still looking for a non-torrent source of the talkie version of Day of the Tentacle if anyone can help- U can find the non-speech version all over the net but i cant find the 100mb voice file anywhere  full throttle also a great game... all hail scummVM and dosbox! (let alone MAME32, Project64, ZSNES, Fusion etc etc!!!) I just looove my old school and emu games! |
