Tell us what it's like. I've kind of convinced myself I want this, even though I wasn't bothered before. I fear I may get bored of it, like I do with GTA . Once I've done the main bits I can't find the motivation to keep playing.
Man this game ROCKS SO HARD THAT I SHITTED IN MY PANTS! I got a 8800GT and Im running it with full settings and MAN THAT GAME IS BEAUTIFUL! Yeah my fps is maybe 20 - 40 in firefights but what the heck.
I can hear the editors of PC Gamer scrambling to hire Agent now.

Re: Far cry 2
For Spiderbloke and anyone else interested, this game certainly delivers the goods to a great extent. The sandbox style gameplay of the original is certainly back in a altogether different environment.
I would highly recommend it for fans of single-player shooters, although for Spider if you do get bored with GTA (which I never have) I do wonder whether you would stand the distance to get to completion, because it is looking a mighty long game (played about 2 hours and reached about 4% game completion, but completed none of the buddy or side missions yet). However having said that, it would be a game that you could dip in and out of, because its storyline is not too deep.
Having tried to run Crysis, I can state that this is in a different league regarding playability on lower spec computers. My 8800GTS is running high detail with ease, and it looks sublime.
If I was going to have a criticism of the game, what I would say is virtually all the game characters are out for you blood, so you can't drive down any road for more than a couple of minutes without getting into some skirmish.
Overall though, looks gorgeous, play superbly and has great attention to detail (the little things I spot, like the roadsigns changing colour in relation to where your next destination is on a mission).
If you like single-player, you need to drag yourself away from TF2 and play this now...
I been reading from a few people that it's a real mission just getting to the missions, and dying en route will send you right back to sqaure 1 cause of no Auto Save. They also tell me there is excessive Drug abuse (from maleria, and jabs ect) and a hella lot of Gun jamming.
I could see that being quiet tedious to be honest.

=Great news also! As long as the gun-jams are no more invasive than Stalker I'll cope. Drug abuse in games always ticks me off as it's never handled maturely- but that's just a personal gaming vendetta of mine.
Im actually hoping Fallout3 arrives after L4D now or I'm going to be bloody swamped in games!
