Has anyone noticed that they seem to be reusing the characters from half-life 2?

Just the Gman and headcrabs. I think they decided there wasn't much point changing them.

You cant really change those characters though can you, like the g-man. I do like the new look of the main zombies. You can see quite a few of the citizen models as scientists aswell.

The part at the end where the planes fly by, that looks really good. It doesent look like the source engine at all.

is this being dev'd by valve?

No it's a group of people who do this in their freetime.

No, one of the two scientists as you go into the test chamber. One of them is one of the women in Half-life 2.
