Tried the free fps WarRock* again today. And here's my advice: DON'T even bother. It's become terrible since I last tried it about a year ago.

Because now people can use real money to buy upgrades, you can play a game without a chance of winning because they have the superior equipment. Though why anyone would willingly spend hard cash on it I'll never know.

And playerwise, I've seen more maturity and help in a CS server.
This means a lot because now they've added a votekick system to the game. And in each game I tried someone kept voting. I got kicked off two games for no reason at all.

So basically, it's shite. Don't touch it. Avoid like the plague.

*For those who dont know, WarRock is a free fps with gameplay in the same vein as the Battlefield series. Only crap.

Last 'free' MMO i played was '2Moons' in which you actually have to physically buy game money from an official store to get the good gear and upgrades! As soon as I found this out I was making my way to control panel and add/remove!
There's enough of a problem in WoW with gold selling atm (yeh, yeh, i play it- let me enjoy it while I can!)- And i'd be lying if i said i'd never bought gold cos, well, I have. Problem is that Blizz. and developers set their prices high cos they think everyone has a bunch of gold- when I know for a fact ALOT of people have at least bought a bit of gold to get their first mount. It was, in fact, my first ever online purchase!
So u can almost excuse 2-moons sanctioned approach in a way.
Also it sounds like this game is alot more combat/deathmatch based, which must make jumping in against experienced players all the more frustrating.

I'd say WarRock could best be described as a FPS that wanted to be Battlefield 2 but got terribly lost along the way and then went insane.
