bending the finger when clicking- and more harmfully leaving it bent there the rest of the time like a pirate-hook! I've since realised that this is due to my mouse being quite short and stubby- as well as just being an uncomfortable design. Apparently i should be lying it flat on the mouse when im not using it- makes sense as it is my fore-finger that has the accursed lump at the base on the joint...
Total TF2 withdrawal for me atm- very tempted to have a game but dont imagine id be alot of use yet if i did. time for me to go buy me a logitech G5.

At the risk of sounding like a bit of a health freak (Which I'm not), heres another few things I learned about gaming.

Working out is good for preventing, mitigating the consequences and restoring from RSI. It makes your muscles more resilient to stress. Bloodflow will increase too. And any waste products from a strenuous position are removed more effectively. I started working out a lot since I got a job as a webdeveloper. I set behind a desk quite often. Just two or three times a week at the fitness centre and vast health benefits for all! And ofcourse your position, the right desk, the right chair and a good mouse are all important too.

Oh, and something else I learned. When you're gaming, you need your brain to work properly, and it needs to work fast. Apparently it works better if it's bathed in a nice warm pool of fluids. Drink a lot of water when you're gaming. And eat fruit and fruitdrinks. Lots of micronutrients and the right kind of sugars will also help your brain to perform better, making you smarter and a better player. Your brain and your self-awareness is based on an actual organ. And that organ needs looking after, like any other part of your body. It's based on a bunch electrochemical reactions, Potassium and other salts sucked up and pumped out, a few neurotransmitters here and there. Basic Chemistry 101. Easy peasy. (I learned that in my days as a Neurobiologist!).

Cheers and good gaming to ya!
